Rules & Regulations of the Kaper Łeba Resort

The scope of the resort’s services includes accommodation in a cottage (no board/meal service).
A stay reservation is considered made after the agreed advance (non-refundable earnest money deposit) for the stay is received within 3 days from placing the order. The reservation payment constitutes earnest money. In the event of an earlier cancellation of the stay or shortening of the stay (delayed arrival or earlier departure, vehicle breakdown, illness, weather conditions) – the collected earnest money as well as the payment for the stay are non-refundable. (Legal basis: the “Tourism Act” of 4 Dec 1997 and Article 394 of the Civil Code).
Making a reservation by the Tenant constitutes acceptance of these regulations.
The hotel day begins at 16:00 and ends at 10:00.
The cottage is made available after full payment for the entire stay is settled at reception and after check-in.
During check-in the local (tourist) tax will be collected in cash according to the rate of the Łeba City Office.
The intent to have a VAT invoice issued must be reported during reservation and payment and the tax ID (NIP) must be provided. Otherwise issuing the invoice will be impossible.
The cottage Tenant is obliged to verify that the actual state of the cottage’s furnishings matches the presented inventory list. Any discrepancies must be reported on the day of arrival. Otherwise any shortages or damages may be charged to the Tenant.
The Tenant bears full financial responsibility for damage, destruction or loss of elements of the resort’s equipment arising from causes attributable to them or their visitors. Moving or rearranging beds and furniture is prohibited.
The Resort is not liable for loss or damage of items left in the cottage or on the resort premises.
Guests of holidaymakers may stay in the cottage and on the resort premises until 22:00 after reporting to reception.
Quiet hours apply from 22:00 until 07:00.
The entrance gate to the resort premises is closed from 22:00 to 07:00.
Car parking is unattended. Parking for two cars per cottage is free. Above two cars a fee applies according to the price list. Charging electric cars is prohibited.
Children may use the playground only under the supervision of adults.
Bicycles and kayaks are rented only to adults for a fee.
We accept pets in accordance with the PET STAY REGULATIONS. Pet stays are charged according to the price list. Failure to inform reception about having a pet in the room will result in a 500 PLN penalty.
It is forbidden to use immersion heaters, space heaters or other electrical devices that are not part of the cottage’s equipment. The intention to use your own heating device must be reported at reception to obtain consent. It is possible to rent a heater. Non-compliance results in charging the Tenant a fee of 500 PLN.
Under the reservation we guarantee a specified cottage type/standard A/B/C/D/E. At the reservation stage a preferred cottage may be indicated, however it is not guaranteed and may change.
We reserve the right to change the cottage type in exceptional situations related to overbooking by our partners (beyond our control). If the type is changed to a more expensive one we do not charge an additional fee. If changed to a cheaper one we refund the difference at reception during check-in.
Waste segregation is mandatory; waste must be placed in properly marked containers.
A total ban on smoking tobacco and frying fish inside the cottage is in force. Non-compliance with the smoking and fish-frying ban results in charging the Tenant an ozonation (odor removal) fee of 500 PLN.
After the stay ends on the day of departure the cottage must be reported at reception for inspection and all additional fees settled.
Unauthorized extension or failure to vacate the cottage by the indicated hour on the day the stay ends is treated as renting the cottage for the next 24-hour period and obliges payment for the next day; additionally a 500 PLN penalty will be imposed.
The Resort owner is not responsible for temporary inconveniences occurring with independent suppliers caused e.g. by temporary lack of water, electricity, television, or internet access.
The behavior of persons using the facility’s services must not disturb the stay of other guests.
The Resort staff reserves the right to refuse service to persons who are aggressive, intoxicated or under the influence of other substances.
In case of violation of these regulations, the Resort may refuse further provision of services to the person violating them. Such person is obliged to immediately comply with the Resort staff’s demands, pay for any damages caused and leave the Resort premises.
